couldn’t be happier!

My original shadowbox idea finally realized in all its glory!
This was actually the idea that started it all! It took me a while to finally complete it. I know that i am missing the serial mouse from the original Macintosh and 128. Despite having one, i decided to keep my 128 with all its pieces. Besides, i never touched one until after college. The mice represented here had my hands all over them most of my life. I am very happy with how it came out.
Ducati Motorcycle for sale!
I have acquired a 2001 Ducati Monster 900 Dark i.e. that was purchased for the movie Mission Impossible 2. It has practically no miles (1886). It was ignored in a garage for a decade so it required a fair amount of paperwork and some maintenance to get it working well and street legal. there are a few minor cosmetic issues like a small dent in the gas tank and broken and taped on turn signals. (i believe the signals were removed for the film)
A few people have asked me to get them pictures and info so i figured this was the fastest way while i work on my actual sales page. I tried to document all the flaws.
Cartesian Geometry is for suckers!
I am very thankful for an early Thanksgiving toy! It’s a Monoprice Delta Pro! (originally $1400, they have dropped a few times and are now on sale for $550. Delta printers are so cool. They do not move at all like traditional 3D printers. i can watch mine all day. you can too, the live cam is back!
It was a snap to get it setup. The opposite experience of my Maker Select V2. Oh i love the auto bed leveling. There is no official Cura profile for the Delta Pro, so i had to throw one together from the Delta Mini and the specs. I did have a few failures. I bought some inferior filament and it would continually get clogged. After switching to the good stuff, my prints were beautiful. Then i started to play with the speed rate options.

Happy Max Headroom Incident day!
This is the anniversary of the infamous hack that interrupted a television broadcast in Chicago, Illinois. A Classic Tom Baker Dr Who episode was replaced with a lunatic in a Max Headroom mask. A prank from from 1987, it remains unsolved to this day.

@defcon just retweeted me!
In a tweet by @todayininfosec we were all reminded of this day in 1999 when @Dildog and the cDc crew presented Back Orifice 2000 (BO2K) to a delighted crowd at Defcon 7. It was quite a show complete with music, projectors, lights, lasers, and even a Speak-n-Spell. It was a lot of fun, and i was elated to be there. i replied early with my memories, but then i remembered that i had found some photos while cleaning. . .so i posted them. These were film prints from an instamatic (as was the style at the time), so they didn’t come out great! they do offer a tiny keyhole through which we may peer into the past. i am glad it is bringing joy. Then @defcon (the official conference account) retweeted. *blush*
Visit to Disneyland after a decade!
I was once an annual passholder to Disneyland. Before that, my family made regular visits. From the stroller to my own legs, Disneyland is present in a large proportion of my memories and memorabilia. It has changed and yet it has stayed the same. Here are some of the things i noticed on my last visit.
I started in California Adventure alone. Out of habit, i started early, i was meeting friends later. It turns out that being alone has its advantages. The single rider program is an awesome way to zip through many of the lines. In truth, Disneyland has made many innovations to waiting in line since the original FastPass.
California Adventure’s changes went mostly unnoticed by me. I am less familiar with the park and as a much newer park there is less to remove. I did noticed the Pixar rebranding and enjoyed some of the additions to the coaster. The new lighting elements were very impressive. The World of Color show was something I’d never seen. I remember watching the building of it, but my pass expired before the debut and life distracted me for a while. That was going to change.
it was in California Adventure where i saw some of the famous Disneyland cats. that was exciting. (helps to show up early). Disney was celebrating the Chinese year of the mouse. Funny, I’ve always heard it referred to as the year of the rat, but that doesn’t match up with branding.

Did you know that I was in the 1982 movie Poltergeist? I was!

I made this in Premier in 5 minutes. it was the first time i had edited video on something other then my phone in years. i hope you enjoy.
