It took over a year, but i have FINALLY federated my WordPress blog. Mostly it was my Cloudfront settings that were keeping it from working. i rekajiggered the caching into what we have now. you can now follow or comment from within the federated Internet.

Status update:
i have finally deployed some much needed updates as well as some resource restructuring of my hosted system. i broke a few things (php-curl), i fixed a few things (wordpress plugins). For the first time in ages, i am looking forward to my AWS bill. AND. . . i may actually be federated.

after working with and loving WP to Twitter for weeks, it abruptly stopped working for an entire day.
Post generated server error, but posted to wordpress not twitter.
Update: now it appears to be resolved. i am now guessing some resource on my shared host was busy. (Dreamhost i’m looking at you) if it returns i’ll get another change to figure it out. thanks again for your help joe.
Zen cart no more!
After hours of trying to make my zen cart work again with google checkout. I finally threw it away for a simple wordpress plugin. Now i take credit cards again! Super easy solution for anyone thinking of building a simple web store.

Fond Memories of Mexico
I just found my iWeb travel blog from my trip to mexico 3.5 years ago. Reading my adventures reminded me of what a great time i had. I need to get out of the US more often. I have a few ideas in the works to bed my wonderlust. We’ll see which idea pans out (or entices others)

I wrote it in iWeb originally because it easily let you work offline and publish whenever you have internet. Now i use the wordpress app for iPhone!! (maybe i’ll migrate the posts here, one day)

something is finally ready!
I have finally sorted out the majority of my website issues! Somethingdotsomething.com is ready for general consumption. now all I need is content. That is the easy part, I just need to go off on a rant or two. enjoy.

my syndication script doesn’t want to update facebook anymore! and I thought I was done with this backend bs.
