We finally arrived in Mexico at about 5pm Friday. After acquiring our visas and some gas we continued on into Nogales. (I made a few friends at the filling station)

A Birthday Beer
Since it was Kira’s birthday, we decided to met up with Kira’s friend Jenessa at her work, “The Grill.” Known for it’s beer & tots, they have seen a boom in business since the movie “Napoleon Dynamite.”
Jenessa then led us on a whirlwind tour of the Tucson bar scene. Starting with the Taproom and ending up at Che’s. Tucson is very much an art town. We explored some of this art in our travels. I only wish we had more time to explore this side of things
A Dash of Internet
We bedded down in Tucson where they have “A” Mountain. Wow, i’m so glad we came. After a bit of blogging and email, we’re off to Nogales to cross over in to Mexicaña.
Street Fair
We discovered a street fair. After procuring some provisions (i.e. kettle corn) we were back on the road.
Palm Springs
A quick stop in Palm Springs for supper.
On The Road
After a bit of a late start, we were on the road by 3:30pm.
