The new face of privacy.
4.1.x coming thanks to keylock bypass.
Apple will fix this quick, so better have your blobs backed up. unless you like being tethered.
read about the bug here. It is doubtful that there will be any new jailbreaks until 4.2.
The long road home.
I started the long trek home today. It was great to get away, but all good things must come to an end. 740 miles to go.
UPDATE: I made it. Nearly 700 miles on just the i5. it’s good to be home. (12 hours of driving, wow)
All the tools are out!
Or should i say toys? Pwnage Tool is added to greenpois0n and limera1n. So now anyone can update their iOS devise without updating the baseband. Apple TV 2 even added to it’s mighty pwnage!
Apple admits they make computers!
Apple, announced great new features for OS X! Like facetime and app store (maybe we’ll even get some real package management). Showed off iLife 11 and Mac OS 10.7 Tiger! Many features and software available Today! Tiger is slated for summer of 2011, but facetime beta and iLife 11 are available already. Lastly, new macbook air. Thinner and more solid then every! Also, amazing battery life. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Markets, Trails, and Car Trouble!
We went to an amazing farmers market in Eugene to fuel up for a wonderful hike. Wonderful trails and great bird watching. Got some great photos. Then it was off to portland (after a snack). I managed to get us lost and eventually blazed my own trail (where i shouldn’t have) and was left with 2 flat tires. my roadside assistance plan hooked us up with the craziest tow truck driver ever. a great guy from san diego who was excited to see other californians. He towed us to costco and even hung out for a while waiting for our friend. Thanks again Denise! After that we snacked at Burgerville a eco friendly (and delicious) fast food joint. And nested at Denise’s place. here are some photos. Now i’m off to Costco to get some new tires and then we’ll explore the city. i hear they have a giant bookstore here.

Back on the road!
After a handful of slows days, we’re packing up and shipping out to Eugene. We’ll stay there for the night, check out some local hot springs and eventually make it up to Portland.
Pictures from the trip.
Just a few amazing moments.

Internet vs nature!
Thanks to a sliver of verizon and some patience. I can post an update. I arrived at the campsite near Grant’s Pass. I’ll be here for a bit and off the grid (mostly). Enjoying nature, the cold, and stars (something that you only think you have living in Los Angeles).
