I returned to Disneyland with some first timers. It hasn’t been very long, but there have been a lot of changes. Fast Pass is now a paid upgrade. Storybook rides now feature video projection. Splash Mountain is now Bayou Country despite keeping the big splash. The Haunted Mansion is in Nightmare before Christmas mode with even more fun changes. The original Club 33 door is now stroller parking! The Electric Light Parade has returned completely refreshed and a new Fantasyland Castle projection show provided exciting new entertainment.

Zapp updates his logos!
To be honest i wasn’t a fan of Elon before i bought my car. my biggest stated fear was that Elon would destroy Tesla before they finished my car. By that i meant that he would drive tesla into enshitification or bankruptcy before full self driving was ever realized. This afternoon, i’ve rebranded with the help of APX! Autobots rollout!

An Evening with Sir Patrick Stewart

An incredible dialog with Sir Patrick Stewart about his childhood, family, Shakespeare, and Star Trek. The appearance was to promote his recently published memoir, “Making it so.” 500 copies were given away at the event, including one to myself. Amazingly, they only forbid video and flash photography. I was able to grab some pics and a pretty solid audio recording. enjoy.
I broke some bad in Albuquerque today
I visited some of the sites from the infamous southwest meth series. the chicken site wasn’t serving, but the car wash was operating. They did an incredible job for a great price and I went site seeing while they worked.
Comic Con 2019 wraps up!
It was an incredible surprise visit to Comic Con! Exhausting and exhilarating! I finally made it to a Simpsons panel thanks to a very special fan of my own who provided me with a most coveted invite. I saw some incredible costumes, amazing artwork, and talented performers. I bought too many t-shirts and not enough comics and artwork. I went to an awesome panel on building communities in Sci-Fi and it turned into just an insightful talk on all manner of writing topics by some incredible writers (only some of which i have already read). Let’s just say that i have a pile of new books to read now. Until next year!

Status update:
The first episode was a great start to what i know will be an entertaining and darkly hilarious madcap adventure. Waiting for the remaining episodes will be the difficult part. Neil Gaiman delivered a brief and amusing introduction. Tasty nibbles were provided. Though this work is originally from nearly 30 years ago, i only read it a few months ago. Perfect timing (i did not know the show was coming).
