If you haven’t checked out cranecar.com yet, do it now. Amazing new cut of the R8 at the decommissioned El Toro air station is up!
Update: not ours anymore, here is a link to the video.
Though I have to admit I am a tad underwhelmed. Sad that they choose to stick with at$t, but I will admit that the $500 price tag is appealing. Right now this devise seems to be set to replace my iPod not my laptop. I think I will wait for the new MacBook pros. I will continue to watch the iPad with interest. I’m sure things will change seriously with new software! I wonder when it will run more then one app at a time. Either by apple’s doing or others.
at this moment I have two systems of my own as well as three more in various sages of diagnostics or testing. included in these are some very big mac pro towers running under serious load. it’s cold. that’s what I’m saying.
I know what you are saying, “using mac pro towers to heat your office isn’t very green of me.” it more like load testing powerful computers isn’t particularly energy friendly, but sometimes it’s got to get done and in the winter, it’s not so bad. (until the electric bill shows up)
Over 3 years after it’s release. nice work george. (@geohot)
In his post Hello hypervisor, I’m geohot George explains that he can run code and has the dumps necessary to crack the encryption needed to make applications. it’s the start of a VERY long road, but i am very excited to know it’s beginning. i was just tinkering with my ps3 last night as well. i look forward to the coming ps3 homebrew scene.
In the morning i dropped my powerbook off the bed in our hotel. Killed my hard drive. Doh! That is why the radio silence. sorry.
