Return visit to Hart Attack to talk about hacking!
This was even more of a meandering discussion then last time. We started with the election hacking scandal and branched out to cover all manner of terrifying technology. Episode 123 airs on Christmas evening 8pm PST. Downloads available sometime after here or podcast. Here is a link:
Hart and I have worked together for some time. He is a mogul of all things horrific. Now he takes on the horror of the modern day with a political/news podcast. He is also struggling under the enormous weight of the medical care for his wife. I encourage anyone with extra funds this holiday season to contribute here.
Wondercon 2016 Pictures! At long last
The convention ended weeks ago. I Finally got all my pictures sorted (as well as my dad’s). These are a few of my favorites. enjoy. I had a blast and as usual, the costumes were amazing. Thanks to Forest and my dad for making this happen and sharing your pictures. Huge thanks to everyone at Wondercon and especially everyone in costume (please send me links and i will happily include them here). See you next year!
I put up an awesome time lapse on youtube!
I took this video before i left town. I have many more pictures and videos to upload from my trip, but for now, enjoy this amazing time lapse of clouds, and sunlight moving across the valley.
Superbowl Sunday at The Broad Museum!
Amazing exhibits. They let you take pictures, so here are mine. enjoy.
There may be too many animated Gifs on my website.
This post will bump the largest one off the front page. My site was getting a bit bloated.
Wondercon 2015 Photos!
First time at Wondercon, I had a great time. Hilariously interesting panels, friendly people and amazing costumes. Food trucks for miles supplemented the usual con food. Similar to Comic Con in spirit, but not in scope. Wondercon lacked the sweltering crowds and with them, much of the lines. This more intimate setting afforded more direct fan interaction. I saw creators hugging fans and levels of joy and enthusiasm that could almost approximate wonder.
